Braids are actually a lot easier to do on greasy hair and they’re more secure and less likely to slip out too (win)! Start by French plaiting your hair, either or two look cute, and then at the top of your neck twist the plait(s) into a bun.

The Bubble Braid

The bubble braid is the much cooler big sister of the ponytail. Not actually a braid, this look is achieved by putting your hair into a ponytail (this can either be high or low) and the sectioning off with elastic bands. Once you’ve placed an elastic band every inch/two inches then you can give the sections more volume by gently teasing out with your fingers.

The Half Bun

A half up half down messy bun brings a certain type of sexy effortlessness to greasy hair, even if it is just a total lack of effort you’re sporting. If you’ve got a greasy fringe or bangs this style is a life saver. Pile the top half of your hair on the top of your head and then dry shampoo the section below.

Bandana Babe

This ones pretty self explanatory, if you can’t beat it, hide it. When you can’t be bothered styling just cover it up. If you haven’t already got a cute bandana in your wardrobe you’re missing out (hello cute bandana top trend), you can shop them here.

Slick Bun

Presumably, your hair already looks like its got gel in it (ew, sorry), so why not stick a bit more in, scrape your hair back and throw it in a knot in at the nape of your neck or on the crown of head and call it fashion.
